A few tips to avoid hangover 🙂
Well, today Australia and the rest of the world is also celebrating: it’s New Year’s Eve! Cheers to everyone! Let’s celebrate, let’s have a good time!
But what about tomorrow? In order to avoid a hangover, here are a few tips.
First of all, you may choose to drink non-alcoholic beverages – please visit our website for some yummy mocktails.
If you decide to hang out, then try to drink responsibly – keep it within bounds.
Possibly don’t mix different types of alcohol. That really helps a lot.
Then, another good trick is to eat something really greasy for dinner – that lines your stomach and gut and slows down the absorption of alcohol into your bloodstream. Also, during the night eat some snacks – preferably something that absorbs some of the alcohol consumed. (E.g. scone, sandwich).
Try to avoid drinks with gas – carbon boosts the effect of booze.
However, the most important advice is to KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED! Alcohol seriously dehydrates your body and is one of the key reasons for feeling bad the following day. This means that on top of drinking alcohol, you also have to insert drinking non-alcoholic drinks. The best is if every second glass is a glass of water – or if you want to feel some yummy flavours – drink Bolero! If you forgot about that, don’t go to bed before drinking a litre of water or Bolero (give yourself about half an hour for that).
Finally, sleep a lot and have a rich breakfast after getting up – including some fatty pieces, e.g. bacon and also bread or similar.
Cheers! 🙂
